- Primary DNA microarray data: Follow these steps for downloading
the primary, unfiltered data from the Stanford
Microarray Database (SMD).
- On SMD, click on the Public Search link
- Go to Basic Search.
- Select S. cerevisiae as the organism and either SBF-MBF binding distribution as the Experiment Set or the citation as the Publication Type. Then click Display Data
- On the resulting list of experiments, choose the Raw data icon
for any experiment and download the file to your computer. This SMD
page also lets you query the data in several ways. Look at the SMD Help
pages (the button is in the top right of the page in SMD).
- Processed data used in the paper: These files are in Microsoft
Excel format. Download them to your computer for browsing. Gene names in
the Excel files are YPD Title Names, © (2001) Proteome, Inc.

figure3_data.xls Microarray data for SBF and MBF targets. There are 2 sets of columns. On the left are the actual percentile ranks. On the right are the same values mapped on to a log scale for the purpose of display in Figure 3. This is indicated in the colour scale for Figure 3 and in the "conversion" tab in the Excel sheet. figure4_data.xls Complete data set underlying Figure 4. Data for Figure 4a is presented as Red/Green fluorescence intensity ratios. Data for Figure 4b (on a separate tab) contains the average of the log 2(Red/Green) ratios for the cell-cycle regulated genes in 4a.
- MEME results: Sample output of the MEME
pattern finding program.
MEME_SBF.txt MEME output for a query consisting of the sequences of the unique SBF target fragments with percentile ranks greater than 96. MEME_MBF.txt MEME output for a query consisting of the sequences of the unique MBF target fragments with percentile ranks greater than 97.
