There are several discrepancies between the sequence of this entry and the sequence that was published by Ulrich Ruther in NAR, 10, 5765-5777 (1982). I'm pretty sure that the sequence of the vector from your database is wrong since I used this vector and found perfect agreement with the published restriction map.

Moreover, plasmid pUR250 is derived from pUR222 (present in you database). It differs from pUR222 only by the presence of an additional XbaI site. Your pUR222 sequence is correct, but there are several differences between pUR222 and your pUR250 sequences. The main differences between your pUR250 sequence and the published restriction map are the following :

I think that most FT lines in your entry are correct and they should match to the sequence below. The origin was set at the TaqI site that is not in the polylinker, as it was in pUR222.
