CC   box--independent natural or substitute promoter elements. The
CC   potential proximal promoter sequences are activated in preference to
CC   more distal ones. [1] probed the effectiveness of the 72-bp enhancer
CC   region by inserting it in different positions and orientations to
CC   analyze its effect at the RNA level.
