SGD Help: Worm-Yeast BLAST Lists By P-Value

This page lists the BLAST reports for all worm ORFs that hit at least one yeast protein with a P-value equal to or lower than the value indicated in the table on the previous page.

• ORF: lists the worm ORFs in order of ascending (most related to least related) P-Value. By clicking on the worm ORF name, you can go to the Sanger Centre Sequence page for that particular worm ORF.

• HOMOLOG: lists the sequence name of the corresponding yeast homolog. By clicking on the yeast sequence name, you can go to the SGD locus page for that particular worm ORF.

• EXPECT: lists the P-value for each hit in ascending (most related to least related) order.

• FR_ID: lists the fraction of identical amino acids for each hit.

• FR_SIM: lists the fraction of similar amino acids for each hit.

• FR_ALQ: lists the fraction of the worm sequence that is aligned.

• HOMOLOG DESCRIPTION: lists the description of the yeast ORF.
