SGD Help: Yeast-Worm BLAST Lists By Percent Identity

This page lists the BLAST reports for all yeast ORFs that hit at least one worm protein with at least the percent of amino acid identity (indicated in the table on the previous page) over 50% or more of the yeast sequence for a given comparison.
- ORF: lists the yeast ORFs in order of ascending P-value. By clicking on the yeast ORF name, you can go to the SGD Locus page for that particular ORF.
- HOMOLOG: lists the sequence name of the corresponding worm homolog. By clicking on the worm sequence name, you can go to the Sanger Centre Sequence page for that particular worm ORF.
- P-VAL: lists the P-value for each hit in ascending (most related to least related) order.
- FR_ID: lists the fraction of identical amino acids for each hit.
- FR_SIM: lists the fraction of similar amino acids for each hit.
- FR_ALQ: lists the fraction of yeast sequence that is aligned.
- HOMOLOG DESCRIPTION: lists the description of the worm
ORF.
