Supplemental Figure 4. Distribution of ribosome occupancy values

The percentage of each mRNA found in ribosome-containing fractions (Fractions 6-14) was determined for 5701 genes. The blue line indicates the cumulative number of genes for every percentile. the black line represents the relative frequency of genes for every percentile, where the percentile with maximal number of genes (70th percentile with 296 genes) was set to one. The average value and standard deviation for 5701 genes is 71 ± 8%.
